The Honeywell 8680i Cordless Ring Scanner is available in a Standard or Advanced model. The Standard model offers simple Bluetooth-paired data collection. It is lightweight, ergonomic, and clearly communicates scan results and battery status. Meanwhile, the Advanced model drives workflows onto a single standalone device for many applications. It has Wi-Fi, a customizable display, and a two button interface. The 8680i streamlines workflows with a single device vs. a scanner and mobile computer combination. Key information can be presented to the worker on the display to enable task-specific responses. For example, confirm action completion or mark an exception.
Additionally, flexible configuration options can be tailored to the work environment. This includes a choice of a two-finger ring or a glove option, as well as slim or extended batteries.
